At the Red Brick Day Nurseries Northampton we believe that your child learns from playing in a fun, happy and relaxed environment. Our curriculum is based upon the Curiosity Approach, which is a modern 21st century approach to childcare using elements from Reggio Emilia, Steiner and Montessori. To find out more about the Curiosity Approach click here.
The Curiosity Approach allows us to follow each of your child’s interests, learning styles and place them at the centre of everything we do. We use a range of natural resources to inspire children’s curiosity, urging them to investigate, discover and tinker. In following the Curiosity Approach we strive to create a culture of curiosity, awe and wonder.
We will spend 2020/21 becoming officially accredited to the Curiosity Approach, which ensures that the team are fully conversant and will become confident with the approach and part of their ongoing training and development.
In choosing the Curiosity approach we satisfy the Government Early Years Framework (EYFS). “It is the role of the nursery to help children experience the awe and wonder of the world in which they live, through the seven areas of learning” Ofsted, The Education Inspection Framework
