Redbrick Day Nurseries are privately run, family-owned day nurseries and preschools based in and around Northampton. We provide high-quality early years education and childcare for children from babies through to preschool, alongside wraparound and holiday care for primary school-aged children.
Across all our settings, our practice is guided by our ethos of learning through awe and wonder. We believe children learn best when they feel safe, secure and inspired, and when they are given the time, space and support to explore the world around them in ways that are meaningful to them. Our aim is to nurture confident, curious learners with a genuine love of learning that lasts well beyond their early years.
Our nurseries offer warm, welcoming environments that feel like a home from home. We work closely with families to provide care that is responsive, flexible and centred around each individual child. From daily routines to learning experiences, we place strong value on partnership with parents and on respecting every child’s unique needs, interests and stage of development.
We offer inclusive childcare, with fees that cover meals, snacks, nappies, wipes and other daily essentials, providing simplicity and reassurance for busy families. Our settings are open all year round, with flexible session options designed to support modern family life.
In addition to our day nursery provision, we offer Out of School and Holiday Clubs, providing full wraparound care including breakfast, school drop-offs and pick-ups, high tea and holiday provision in a familiar and nurturing environment.

Redbrick was founded on a simple but powerful belief: childcare should work around children and families, not the other way around.
“When I was looking for childcare for my daughter, I struggled to find a setting that truly reflected the way I cared for her at home. I didn’t want her day to be dictated by a rigid timetable that didn’t meet her needs. I wanted flexibility, trust and a setting that respected both my child and my role as a parent.
I wanted to remain the decision-maker in my child’s care, with routines that followed her needs rather than forcing her to fit into someone else’s. I soon realised I wasn’t alone in feeling this way, and that is where Redbrick began.
We opened our first nursery in Welford Road, Kingsthorpe in May 2016, and the founding principle of ‘Childcare Your Way’ remains at the heart of everything we do. Redbrick was created to offer bespoke, flexible childcare in a nurturing environment that truly puts children first and supports families in a meaningful way.”

Since opening our first nursery, Redbrick has grown, evolved and strengthened, while remaining true to the values it was built on. Today, our nurseries are led by experienced professionals, supported by skilled and caring teams who are passionate about early years education.
