Childcare Your Way….

Building confident learners through Awe and Wonder

At Redbrick Day Nurseries, “Childcare Your Way” is more than a phrase — it is the foundation of how we work with children and families every day.

We understand that no two children are the same, and no two families’ needs are identical. Our approach is built on flexibility, trust and partnership, allowing children’s routines, care and learning to reflect their individual needs while supporting parents in a way that genuinely works for family life.

Our nurseries are open from 7.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, all year round, with the exception of public and bank holidays. We work closely with families around seasonal arrangements, including Christmas, taking a considered and family-focused approach to opening where possible.

We offer a broad range of session options, with the flexibility of hourly rates available to support changing needs. In addition, we are able to work in partnership with parents to create bespoke childcare arrangements where required, ensuring care truly fits around family life rather than the other way around.

Our practice is guided by our ethos of learning through awe and wonder, where children are encouraged to explore, question and discover through meaningful experiences, rich environments and supportive relationships.

Our curriculum is inspired by the principles of the Curiosity Approach, supporting child-led learning that values exploration, creativity and confidence. Children are encouraged to follow their interests, make choices and engage deeply with their environment, with free-flow access to carefully chosen resources indoors and outdoors wherever developmentally appropriate.

This approach allows children to learn in a way that feels natural, purposeful and enjoyable, while being gently guided by experienced practitioners who understand how children learn best.

Our teams are passionate about early years education and committed to providing high-quality care for every child. The majority of our practitioners are highly qualified, experienced and supported through ongoing training and professional development.

Individual training and development plans ensure staff remain knowledgeable, reflective and up to date with best practice, enabling them to offer nurturing care alongside meaningful learning experiences.

Redbrick nurseries operate on an all-inclusive basis, meaning we provide everything your child needs throughout the day. This includes all meals and snacks, drinks, nappies, wipes and suncream, offering simplicity and reassurance for families.

We follow a farm-to-fork approach to food wherever possible, using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Meals are freshly prepared each day by our onsite chef, supporting children’s health, wellbeing and positive relationships with food.

We value open, honest and consistent communication with families. We use technology to support strong partnerships with parents, sharing regular updates about your child’s day, including meals, sleep, care routines and learning experiences.

In addition to digital communication, we prioritise daily verbal feedback and strong relationships, ensuring parents feel informed, reassured and involved in their child’s nursery life.

Children at Redbrick benefit from a wide range of enriching experiences, including gardening, cooking, music and movement, dance and physical activities. We also work with specialist providers, such as Super Star Sports coaches, to support children’s physical development, confidence and enjoyment of movement.

Childcare Your Way means care that is flexible, thoughtful and centred around the child. It means learning that is led by curiosity, inspired by awe and wonder, and supported by skilled, caring adults. Above all, it means working in partnership with families to give children the very best start in life.
