NATURAL ‘Home from Home’ Childcare
Your child is the most important thing in your life and here at the Redbrick Day Nursery we will ensure your child has everything that they need to grow and develop to their full potential and be confident when they start school.
With a focus on nature, the environment, Forest school activities and outdoor play, our team of highly qualified care providers ensures a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment to encourage your child to be curious, explore and learn about the world around them.
We are open from 7am to 6pm all year and offer a variety of sessions to suit busy parents. We also tailor make sessions to suit parents needs.
Our Curriculum
The Awe and Wonder Approach + EYFS
At the Redbrick Day Nursery we believe that children learn from play in a fun, happy and relaxed environment. Our curriculum is based upon The Awe and Wonder Approach, which is a modern 21st century approach to childcare using elements from Reggio Emilia, Steiner and Montessori.
We use a range of natural resources to inspire children’s curiosity, urging them to investigate, discover and tinker.
In choosing The Awe and Wonder Approach we satisfy the Government Early Years Framework (EYFS).

My son started at Redbrick at 8 months old and my daughter at 13 months and they’re still there now aged 3 and 4. I can’t thank Redbrick enough for the education and love that they have shown my kids. It’s so hard to pick a setting that’s right for your kids when you’re returning to work but we were confident in our choice and have never regretted it. My kids have built fantastic relationships with both staff and other children.
My son starts school soon I know he is ready as he’s used to routine, rules, sharing, learning and has built confidence in an educational setting. I am particularly impressed with how the staff have worked on things that my kids have expressed an interest in eg. planets and arts and crafts. I can’t imagine a kinder group of staff than the Redbrick team and I can’t thank them enough for the input they’ve had on my kids’ upbringing.
My 2 children attend the holiday club and it is brilliant. The staff are fantastic and they are so accommodating. The sessions are so flexible and they also offer before and after school care which I have booked at really short notice.
My two children come to this nursery. The staff are awesome & the setting has so much for them to do. The meals they have sound & smell delicious. I couldn't say anything bad about them. Lovely people
My Daughter attends this Nursery! And it's just amazing!! Belinda is overly brilliant with my Daughter . She put so much time & effort into helping her become this best little Girl she can be! . Nursery manager, Simone, is too just as amazing is so ready to put me at ease whenever I'm having a down day!
Amazing holiday club very flexible. My daughter always had problems making friends, but she’s made friends with the club and never looked back compare to school where she had struggled for the last five years they have become closest group of friends!! Unlike a lot of after-school clubs I found they are treated like individuals more like mini adults they have a say in what they learn and what they do they get to pick activities

What a fantastic nursery this is. The staff are all very welcoming in this amazingly creative and supportive learning environment! I would definitely recommend this nursery, hours are flexible and open 7-7. Couldnt have found a better place!
My daughter has been at Redbrick since she was 11 months old (she's now 2 1/2). She absolutely loves it there and the staff they have there now are fantastic. They've supported us with potty training, behaviour and the few eating strikes. Highly recommended
